Appointments
The practice runs an Advanced Access Appointment System. For all appointments please ring between 8am to 9am for an appointment that same day. If an appointment is not available, you will be asked to phone the surgery the following day at 8am The reception team will ask the reason for your call so that we may direct you to the best service
Online appointments are available to book each day from 05:30am. Please contact the surgery to register for Patient online access or if you have forgotten your log in details. You can register online by completing the Register for Online Services form.
Extended Access
Extended access appointments can be made on request for Saturdays and weekday evenings at Kingstanding Circle Surgery. These appointments are pre-bookable and subject to availability. Your consultations from Kingstanding surgery are then sent to your usual GP to review.
Paramedics and ANP’s
In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a Paramedic or Advanced Nurse Practitioner rather than a Doctor. Paramedics and ANP’s have advanced clinical knowledge and skills qualified to deal with many conditions and you may be seen more quickly. Paramedics and ANP’s are able to prescribe and refer patients
Pharmacy First
For minor illness, a referral directly with the Pharmacy referral service may be offered to you. A consultation with a local pharmacist who can issue prescriptions if needed, without having to be seen by a GP may be more suitable.
It is the patient’s responsibility to ensure that if you cannot make a booked appointment you let the practice know, giving enough time for the appointment to be given to another patient.
