As you may have been hearing on the news and online, weight loss injections can soon be prescribed by your GP.
There are very strict criteria in place by the NHS for access to this service, so please do not call the surgery regarding this medication unless you meet the following criteria:

- Diagnosed with FOUR out of five of the following conditions:
- Type 2 Diabetes
- High Blood Pressure
- Heart and Vascular Disease
- High Cholesterol
- Obstructive Sleep Apnoea
If you are eligible for weight loss injections prescribed by your GP, you will also have access to wraparound care including regular check ups and advice on healthy eating.
